Progress!
Delighted to report that its starting to come together!
Thankfully, various technical and business strands are now starting to make sense and work together. We are in design-development mode, making progress on FLIT prototype features :
- user questionnaire (to understand your priorities and your current LifeStage)
- articles & resources
- courses (learning programmes)
- cohorts (groups of users following a similar programme of learning)
- budgeting module
In each case, we are looking to point users towards resources and tools that already exist in Ireland and to integrate rather than re-invent
We've experimented (having fun) with a couple of AI platforms to see how well they can respond to financial questions relevant to people in Ireland, and whether the underlying models need fine-tuning.
Amazon partyrock (opens in a new window)
Google Gemini/ Google Cloud
Glide user interface simulator
We've definitely realised that we need to show our users something rather than speaking vaguely about a new financial literacy platform
This work is regarded as a pre-requisite to delivering software to customers, and it's where I'll continue to spend my time for the remainder of 2024. Meanwhile we continue UX and software development in the background ready for early adopter testing Q1 2025, with focus groups and workshops scheduled from January 2025.
